Test for Hearing Loss and Get Fitted for a Hearing Aid
EVALUATION
If you are having trouble or difficulty hearing, it may be time for a hearing evaluation. The hearing health specialists at Amanda’s Hearing Care will perform a comprehensive ear and hearing health evaluation. Our certified staff starts by gathering a complete medical and hearing history for each patient. We then perform tests that give our hearing care professionals a thorough outline of what sounds you may be missing or hearing. If your hearing tests reveal permanent hearing loss, you may be recommended hearing aids for one or both ears.

Fitting
Once we have selected your hearing aids after an evaluation, Amanda’s hearing professionals will program them based on your prescription to fit your exact hearing needs. We will explain how to use the devices, how to put them in your ear and remove them, how to change batteries, and how to clean and care for the device. When you put on hearing aids for the first time, you may have different emotions about the sounds you hear. The goal of the hearing aids is to make every sound audible and comfortable. Our hearing professionals will perform some small tests to ensure that the sound from your hearing aids is clear and pleasant. If you, your spouse, or a family member is experiencing hearing loss, don’t hesitate to call Amanda’s Hearing Care today.
